About BioData

BioData is a free tool for the papers that open doors: a resume or CV for a job, a cover letter, an Indian job bio-data, and a marriage biodata for every community and eleven Indian languages.

What is on the site

  • Resumes and CVs. 30 templates, ATS-friendly layouts, a fresher preset, an academic CV and a Gulf CV, with sample wording for more than 100 roles.
  • Marriage biodata. Presets for Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist and Sindhi families, with labels in 11 Indian languages.
  • Cover letters and job bio-data in the Indian format, matched to the resume designs.
  • Kundli. Birth charts, 15 divisional charts, dashas, doshas and 36-gun matching, calculated with the Lahiri ayanamsa and checked against the Swiss Ephemeris.
  • Guides for each of these, written for Indian families and Indian employers rather than copied from American resume advice.

Why we built it

Most “free” resume builders let you type for twenty minutes and then ask for money to download. Most biodata makers put a watermark on the page. We think a document about you should be free to make and free to download, so here it is — no account, no watermark, no trial that renews.

How it stays free

The site shows a small number of clearly labelled ads on the information pages. Ads never appear inside the editor, and downloads are never gated.

Your privacy

What you type is saved only in your own browser. When you download, the page is sent to our server just long enough to make the PDF or image and is deleted right after. Read the privacy policy for details.

How the documents are made

You fill in a form and the page is laid out for you, so nothing shifts the way a Word table does. The PDF carries real, selectable text rather than a picture, which matters when an employer's tracking software reads it, and Indian-language pages are set in Noto fonts so Devanagari, Tamil, Bengali and Urdu print correctly. The kundli pages do their own astronomy in your browser; we cross-checked them against the Swiss Ephemeris and the open-source PyJHora before publishing.

Who we are

BioData is designed and built by CodingMarble, a small studio in India run by Ranjeet Mishra that makes websites, apps and free tools. The site is maintained by hand: templates, wording and the guides are written here, and corrections from readers are what keep them accurate.
